The room comes with a complimentary set of ear plugs. Seeing that on the bed as soon as you walk in the room should give you an indication of how bad this place is. It's an old hotel, I get that they're trying to go for nostalgia, but it just comes off as nasty. The room is very small with the ironing board hiding under the bed, but you don't really have any space to use it anyway. They haven't updated the heating and cooling system for over ten years so you can't really close the window, making it very loud at night if you get a room above the street (I was unfortunate enough to get one). There was mold in the shower because there's no ventilation fan in bathroom. Who knows the last time the carpet was replaced so make sure to bring flip flops. Other problems people had in my group: multiple malfunctioning toilets, damp moldy smelling rooms, and large amounts of noise from neighbors. I don't recommend this hotel unless it's a last resort. The roof is nice.
