I finally pulled the trigger and purchased this very expensive but gorgeous desk I ve had my eyes on for years. I made the purchase in December 1, 2019 through McGee & Co because it was in stock and there was 20% discount (no brainer!)

I was aware of their processing time frame and lead times, but they NEVER contacted me ONCE regarding an update on my order which I ve paid off in full by the time I contacted them in January 22 asking for an update. I was told at that time that the piece was in fact backordered indefinitely. I said I would wait and for them to please keep me updated of any changes or etc. Nothing!

I contacted them back again on May 1st for an update and it took 9 days for a response back (yes, we re in a pandemic, but every other company (small ones, too) has responded back within 24-48 hours). I get an update that this is back ordered till August or later. Now this $2500 desk isn t even on their website and I ve decided, enough is enough, and to cancel the desk because at this rate I will be waiting on it for almost year. I am beyond frustrated and feeling let down from this company whom I ve been a long time follower and fan of.
