I want to give this restaurant more stars but the most I could give is 2.5 based on our last few visits- we have given it plenty of opportunities to impress us. The dishes are inconsistent- not sure if it depends on the chefs or what, but I think we re done. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the decor is modern and cozy. We went for Mother s Day brunch and it felt like we were at a first time restaurant trying to prove they are fancier and higher end than they actually are. The food selection was not great and the food wasn t much better. We went a couple more times and the last time with the last this past Saturday. Four of us had pasta dishes- three tried the homemade pasta- which was in the past delicious. Not this time- it was the most tasteless pasta ever. One person ordered chicken, pasta and broccoli w pasta sauce and just before the dinners were served to us, we heard a crash in the kitchen. When his dish came out it had one little chicken cutlet on it and the waitress said, that crash was your chicken, they will make more. Why they didn t just bring everything out at once I don t know because when he got his meal the pasta had absolutely no taste and actually tasted watered down- like it had taken a fall off of the plate and they ran it under water then just added a VERY LITTLE but if sauce and another chicken cutlet and hoped he wouldn t mind how it actually tasted. The two other dinners were tasteless as well, but not as bad as his. We explained to the hostess that the pasta had no taste at all and he really would rather not finish it. She offered to bring another and kept saying I m sorry, but the waitress then turned cold and unfriendly for the rest of the night. We gave this restaurant plenty of tries, as it is a close, convenient option to where we live, however, it just doesn t measure up to what they try to be.
