Like other reviewers, I wish I had read and taken greater notice of other reviews before ordering. Pay attention, if you order from these people, this is what is likely to happen.....
Ordered a brown leather home office chair for next day delivery on 25th April. I wait expectantly until 3 days following the day it was due to be delivered, then I receive a mail to say it's out of stock and will I take this black chair instead.
No, I wanted brown.
Days pass, multiple e-mails sent and calls logged. E-mail conversations are slower than writing by hand and posting with a stamp and get you no further forward. Then I get a call from Bob Robinson who I can see is their Marketing Manager. Things are looking up. We have a good chat about how demand is through the roof and supplies are low but we look at stock whilst on the call and I agree to pay nearly twice as much for a different brown leather chair which is in stock and will be delivered by Wednesday 6th May. I have the order confirmation, I am confident.
Then silence again. Hopes dashed. Nothing arrives.
Then on Thursday 7th May they mail to say that the 2nd brown leather chair, which I had been told was in stock, and is twice the price of the original chair, is in fact not in stock and will I take the black chair instead!
No I bloody won't!
Seriously, what is going on in this company. I get that trading during Covid is tough, but align your stock systems and sales, sort out your customer services, call me - don't mail - we can sort this out in 5 minutes.
How much easier to get a 5 star rating than a 1 star?
