More concerned about how many parts can be shoved ...

More concerned about how many parts can be shoved out the door. Management left with poor options for skill sets to use in all honesty, but handles it most poorly. From the view of a welder. Given 1/16 tolerance but it never applies. Day shift supervisor and group lead are class a men. Bright and hard working. But get ready to learn to do poor quality work. A 'gorilla' weld is the best wanted. More time spent on quality than that may get you in trouble. Tooling in almost all departments (I did more job titles than my own) will set you up for failure. Is quite rough to be blunt. The motto is this is the way we have always done it. Then wonder why it's always cracking on bends in the steel or welds fail. Yes you must ask for help to receive it. But wow.
