BYU-Idaho is the best thing to ever happen to me. It is a great university with a great environment. Every class is opened with a prayer which I didn't really like at first but I have grown to love it. Most teachers are very understanding of all kinds of circumstances and the classes are small enough that the teachers actually try to get to you know. It is just a very caring environment compared to other universities. Like others have said, the academic advising center and the financial aid center are run by a bunch of students who have no idea what they're doing which is quite frustrating but you will get help eventually just probably not as quickly as you'd want. The health center is also really hard to get ahold of and not very helpful but all schools have their down falls. Overall, BYUI is a great university. It has the lowest tuition you will ever find but also a quality education. They do have an intense honor code in some aspects but if you can't follow it and want to complain about it, go somewhere else. The honor code is put in place to keep students safe.
