I'm a fellow alumni here so I'm familiar with the area. I came here today to eat my lunch since we can't dine in during this pandemic. So CSUN is very quiet now and it's free parking. I was able to find parking easily here and found a nice spot to eat my food while enjoying the outdoor. There were some people walking around or having picnic but CSUN is a big campus so you can social distant. Just keep in mind everything is closed and locked so if you need to use the bathroom, you likely won't find one.
