I don't write reviews on any businesses, ever. I leave that to Angie's List.

However, my recent shopping experience at Fort Bend Kia was exemplary in comparison to the other dealerships I've visited or spoken to. I was in the market for a 2012 Kia Soul Plus. I'd contacted Westside Kia, Demontrond Kia, Fredy Kia, and numerous others to locate the vehicle I wanted. Apparently, the inventory on the official Kia Soul website was not accurate because I was told they do not have those vehicles in stock or it's already been sold. Some told me they only have a few but would not give me the VIN or quote me a price over the phone. They wanted me to drive out there personally.

I received an e-mail from Geof of Fort Bend Kia, asking me to let him know what I'm looking for. He immediately sent me the VIN for the vehicles that fit my criteria. I was able to do a lot of comparison on their website before my appointment at the dealership on Monday. Prior to my calls and e-mails to the dealerships, I've already done my research on Edmunds and KBB so I'm aware of the approximate prices for the Soul plus. It was the sales pressure and deceptive practices at the dealerships that I dreaded the most. Surprisingly, the atmosphere at Fort Bend Kia differs greatly from other dealerships I'd visited. Geof was courteous and attentive to my questions and concerns. We test drove the vehicle I was interested in and Geof patiently explained all the features that came along with the car. I made a reasonable offer based on my research and keeping in mind the dealership needed some profit. It was accepted without all the back and forth price haggling I've dealt with at other dealers. I could NOT believe it!
I then met Jim, the sales manager, and Virgil, the owner, as we drew up the contract for the car. I was very impressed that Virgil was on site and everyone was very personable. The finance manager, Charles, was an expert in his field and very willing to help. I met the very nice service manager, Crystal, who scheduled my first service.

The commitment of the entire Fort Bend Kia team to a great customer service experience and treating their customers like family was phenomenal. I was in such awe of everyone that when we had a mix-up with the paperwork and VIN, I was more than willing to wait. I am extremely thankful for everyone at Fort Bend Kia for making my buying experience such a memorable one. Even if I have to drive out to Rosenberg, you have earned my business for life!
