"Vintage." It was what would be expected of price for this area. Staff very nice, building needs updates but relatively clean and in good repair.
We had a street view over the night clubs and the building has 1960s insulation so you could overhear conversations from the street below from the 5th floor. Things quiet down around 1 or 2am and stay as such through mid morning.
Accommodations were not as promised, though. Calling my bed a queen was a stretch because it was definitely a full sized bed (I'm 5'4" and could touch both edges of the bed). The building has two very old elevators that have manual door/gate entries. One of the elevators was out of order and the functioning one had a capacity of 4. Yes, 4. It operates safely, but I decided to do a bit of stair climbing during this visit. It was a true 5 floors as the building is Lobby, 1, 2, 3, etc...
All in all, a decent value for the $230 after taxes for 2 nights, but not the typical comforts you expect in an updated hotel.
