My daughter, 11 month old grandson and I stayed at the hotel for 5 weeks for military reasons. The hotel staff was excellent and they went above and beyond what is typical for a hotel. First impressions are huge, especially since they upgraded our room for free. They catered to our every beck and call. With a fridge in the room but no microwave, they were always willing and happy to warm up food for us. They provided a crib and a high chair for the room at no extra charge. The free breakfasts along with the large variety of food and the fresh fruit were very good. The breakfast staff always went out of their way to assist my grandson and I however they could. The front desk gave us a little sand bucket with toys so my grandson could enjoy the beach. He loved it and it was just his size. When we needed something extra from the hotel staff, they were delivering it within a few minutes. I have never been to a hotel that has been so friendly and had so many 'servant' hearts to serve others. Keep up the great work. We were on the 14th floor so we didn't have any issues with 'street noise' other than the normal hum of the traffic. There were only 2 elevators in our tower, which at times got very busy. Thankfully I didn't have deadlines to meet so the elevator situation for me didn't matter. My daughter's work schedule only had her encountering slow elevators at times when she would return from work. I give this Hyatt Place Waikiki Beach hotel 5 stars!
