Hi Snow and Snow

I would just like to leave a review of our wonderful skiing holiday to Montgenevre.

We were a group of 3 boys who left in week 10 where we stayed at the Hotel Chalet Boom from Wednesday to Sunday.

We even drove there and arrived on Wednesday morning. We were going to have breakfast ourselves that day, but our sweet guide Elvira asked, as the most natural thing in the world, if we didn't want to have dinner at the buffet that was still coming. We had ordered half board, breakfast and dinner the following days.

Elvira also made sure our room was ready early in the morning, although check-in was later in the afternoon. She then informed about general conditions, such as the ski area, the city, eating times and tips for bars and eateries.

The hotel itself was neat and clean, as were the rooms. The food that is prepared by the Danish chef was excellent, and the staff in the cozy cellar / cave as well as the waiters were also Danish. Everyone was very sweet and service minded.

The ski area is excellent with wide blue and red slopes as well as some black slopes. There are plenty of slopes for 4 days of skiing for three experienced skiers, but you can buy extra area inside Italy briefly from your own area if you are for example a full week off. The ski lifts in the area are not the fastest, and if you are used to large effective areas in, for example, Austria or France, you can feel the difference a bit.

The town itself is small and cozy with some excellent restaurants. There are few bars in town, but the bar under the hotel is super and the prices are reasonable. This is not the place if you are only looking for heavy apres ski. In contrast, it is excellent family area, or an area for people who want to combine good skiing with a good city tour some days.

We decided to drive home early Sunday morning at. 4 (the trip to Copenhagen takes between 17 and 20 hours depending on breaks and queues). Therefore, we could not attend the breakfast buffet on Sunday morning. To our great surprise, the waiter offered that the kitchen could spread a few sandwiches to us that we could bring in the car. Excellent service.

Overall, we were more than happy with our stay in Montgenevre at Snow and Snow, and I would like to pass on my warmest recommendations to the place and the company.
