I visited ITC RAJPUTANA for an experience with family a few days back. The COVID19 sanitization protocol was followed to the T.
In fact, I was impressed with sanitised cutlery placed on the table and staff taking full precautions.

Now, I was here during tea time in the evening. Someone who visited ITC Maurya Sheraton, a few times back in Delhi, I'm aware of the kind of experience they provide in terms of overall hospitality and service.

I expected the same from this property as well. And, I was disappointed to the core.

When we entered Pavillion, only 2 tables were occupied and we requested a table for 4 on the other end of the restaurant away from the main entrance.

We requested for joining of the table which the staff refused to do. Now, I understand the COVID19 protocol, but these guys were so dumb that they just couldn't guide us properly. Considering you are travelling with aged parents, this was the biggest disappointment for me.

Now that we were seated, started scanning the menu and placed an order for coffee and assorted bread basket. Sandeep took our order for the day. Again, it was challenging to grab their attention.

The servers were not attentive. The worst part when we said "Excuse me" 2-3 times to call the servers. (No I'm not exaggerating but purely disappointed) There was another table next to us with a family where I could the servers visiting frequently.

The coffee was served and one of the cups had spilled over marks of the coffee. Is this a local coffee shop? Another thing which I thought was missing was the complimentary cookies served alongside. I may be wrong to expect the same but we got some lovely cookies at other ITC properties.

We were enjoying our coffee which was perfect for the evening. The aroma, the texture was wow!! But again, the assorted bread basket had not arrived. Again after a few "Excuse me" greetings, our server came. The bread came late when we were halfway through.

What did I observe? Your service really needs work and better coordination. I could see 3-4 staff members together and only 3 tables were occupied which couldn't be managed properly. Forgot service, the overall experience was unexpected. Pathetic!
