On an information evening for pregnant women, it was stated that 1 room is suitable for a bath birth. The question from the audience whether you had to bring it yourself or whether you could rent it in the hospital was answered in the clear that you can do this through your midwife. After I had followed this advice, we not only received no on the request. It was claimed that I just misunderstood. But the other reasons are that the room is too small and the floor construction cannot handle this. The weight of a bath equals 6 people.

Nice and safe if you cannot stand with 6 people in a room without the risk of collapse.

If people lie about such things, I have absolutely no faith in these people.

The information is therefore of no use to you because you cannot rely on it. My advice is not to go. What a disappointment.

Why are people not honest and don't say we don't feel like doing that? Is clear in any case. A bit old-fashioned too, to keep it that way today.

--- update ---

In the meantime I still gave birth in Hardenberg. I am very well looked after by the entire staff. For this I have given 1 star, because the story above has given me a lot of stress during the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy. That had not been necessary. They have solved it well by taking me seriously. If I only assessed the care, I would give a big 5 stars. That was fantastic.
