First visit :
Excellent hotel at the entrance of Guanajuato! With an average cost neither cheap nor expensive for the service offered it is quite reasonable. It is well located in the surroundings you will find several food businesses, convenience stores, groceries, pharmacies so you have anything you need nearby. Along the avenue you can find truck routes that go to and from the center so you can move easily and then start the walk through the center and enjoy the view and the many museums that there are to visit. Speaking of the hotel, the staff is very friendly, the waitresses offer excellent service, there is coffee and water every day and they have an ice factory on the floor. They also have a small shop in the lobby. It has a pool that although it is not very big is not usually crowded so you can swim for a while and relax. They have a quick and early complimentary breakfast. Although the food is not excellent it is passable and for the price you pay for the room it is well worth taking advantage of it. It has a large parking lot in front, to the side, behind the hotel and one more underground so you will have no problem leaving your car and it will be safe. It has an Applebee's restaurant next to the hotel from which you can order for lunch and dinner, although as I mentioned there are more food businesses around, such as the tacos el bonfire, very good indeed. Since I arrived I loved the room and the hotel in general ... I expected less for the price, the truth is that it exceeded my expectations and I would definitely return here some other time. Thanks for such good service!

Update (Second visit):
I am staying at the hotel for the second time, this time the service has not been so pleasant, I realize that the maintenance has declined and the attitude of the staff as well. Starting with the fact that now the ice machine on floor 2 and 4 do not work, I reported it to reception and they agreed to review, 3 days of my stay have passed and at least the one on floor 4 still does not work. The water in the pool is too cold and the jet that comes out as well, I reported to a maintenance person and he mentioned that he was going to check it, I never got an answer, I reported back to reception and they agreed to review and I didn't get a response either, after a while I went personally to reception and they spoke with him Maintenance staff had supposedly already checked and everything was fine, when he mentioned that the guest was at the front desk to make the complaint he mentioned that it was going to take a while to heat up. And the lady from frontdesk mentions that it was going to take 2 to 3 hours but that they don't have a boiler ... (then how were they going to HEAT it?) It is already the second hotel of the ihg chain that happens to me, it seems it is becoming customary. And to top it off, every time I returned to my room at night, I was surprised that the 2 keys they provided me were deactivated ... I had to go every time to have them activated again. The first time I stayed here I mentioned that I would definitely go back and I did. But this time I would think about it more than 3 times to book here again. Too bad since I'm a member of ihg rewards and I like the service of the chain, but unfortunately this time it was the exception.
