I was very happy with my move. We were moving houses and had to have 3 different moves since I was also moving items to/from storage and to relatives. We boxed our possessions ourselves. We moved some items ourselves such as lamps, pictures, kitchen, and some electronics. Everything else was in boxes. We were well prepared which they seemed to appreciate. They wrapped the handrails in blankets, put cardboard on the hardwood floor, and plastic runners on the stairs. I'm not sure if they normally do this, but we requested it and they didn't hesitate to do it. We had 7 workers and they all worked very hard. We marked boxes that were fragile and they took extra precautions with those. They had the entire house packed in the trucks just after lunchtime. We provided lunch which they appreciated as well. We got to know the crew while we ate and all we're really nice and fun to work with. The move into the new house also went well. We directed where each item went. If we wanted furniture moved or even rearranged, they were willing to do it. They truly wanted to be sure we were happy where everything went. In the end, it went much smoother than we thought it would. We did have a few small nicks, but they were so minor and far less than we would have had with other movers. I would definitely recommend Ferguson.
