Amazed that this airport uses "tricks" to make money.

As a tourist you can only get CUC currency. Once you get through security, you can't be allowed to pay with CUC. By contrast, dollars or credit cards - whereby they charge a 10 percent fee.

In the speakers is a message explaining that you can not use CUC when you have passed through security, but this message is well played to feel, After you have gone through security.
