I used to enjoy my time in Mayhem but in recent years it's been lacking. The floors are sticky, nothing's been refurbished since I first started going back in '08, most of the taps in the gents don't even work and the service has been appalling. In recent years I've been harassed by bouncers after I left the club with them insisting I leave the area when I was talking to friends who were in the smoking area and when I refused I was forcefully moved despite the fact I was in a public space and they had no jurisdiction to do so and my worst experience that made me never go back was when I was refused service at the bar for having a disability, being ignored by a member of staff who proceeded to talk down to me for having difficulty walking. After leaving a complaint with their management which was dutifully ignored, I then received abuse and threatening messages from the barman in question on Facebook. This is a horrible place to go, has a terrible association with drug use which has resulted in police raids as well as having people who have died on their nights out.

STRONGLY AVOID THIS PLACE.
