Prior to moving to Casa de las Campanas in 2016, we researched CCRC profit / nonprofit communities in southern California, Arizona and Florida. Our decision for Casa was easy as they seemed to offer all that we were looking for. We feel extremely comfortable and safe and no longer have the worry of maintaining the many facets of a home. We now just close the door and travel with no worries. The amenities are unbelievable with so many things to do. The residents and staff are caring, food is great with three restaurants and an award-winning chef, libraries, indoor/outdoor pools, fitness center for exercising as well as numerous activities. We are located right across the street from San Dieguito River Park/Trail Head with 16 miles of hiking trails. Moving here does not mean you cannot be involved as we have the Resident Association Executive Council and multiple Management Advisory Committees who meet monthly with Directors and other staff. As we age there is no longer a need to worry as we are taken care of as we move from independent living thru the assisted living to memory care if that should be required. No doubt we made the right decision.
