Vera's incompetency and failure to openly admit that they made a mistake in ordering my daughters wedding gown is as disturbing as their Google rebuttal which includes biometric measurements in inches on the future bride. Subsequently we went to a reputable bridal establishment and purchased another wedding dress. I am out over $1,000.00 on Vera's gown. I was not totally at ease when I first seen the place, it is outdated. The day we went to initially pick a dress out they placed us in a 2nd story room with my 90 year old mother along. They were accommodating to change to a first floor dressing room however this shows the lack of insight they have. As the mother of the bride I will share the inappropriate comments made by one of the sale persons and witnessed by the others in our group the day my daughter chose the dress at Vera's. My daughter made a comment that she was not sure that she liked a train on one of the dresses. I started to explain to her my thoughts. The sales person raised her voice and began over talking me which was demeaning. She did this everytime I said something to my daughter. After we chose the dress the same sales person shouted across from the stair area to where I stood close to the register another demeaning comment about the train. My daughter and I were horrified. My daughter and I are reasonable and respected professionals in the medical field and are only posting this so future brides do not experience what we did. Ask other wedding boutiques about Vera's. I can expect a long response on my post from Vera's. LOL all they ever needed to do is take responsibility for their mistakes instead of posting rebuttals on Google to salvage a unearned reputation.
