I was a former employee here and left on good terms, using this job as a stepping stone for something bigger. I started working here as an unarmed officer and within a couple years I was promoted to bike officer, lead bike officer, supervisor, and watch commander. The supervisors and management that I worked with are very aware of hard work and good work ethic.

There are a lot of opportunities for overtime here, but you are by no means forced to work long hour like I'm reading in some of the comments. I had said no many times to overtime and never was looked at differently.

One great thing about this company is the diversity in the workforce and the diversity in the type of job you can do. For instance, you could be a bike officer and literally get paid to exercise and see a lot of downtown Portland, you could be a concierge at some of Portland's many condominiums, you could work some awesome events like musicfest northwest, flicks on the bricks, and other awesome events. (I had the chance to see Weezer while I was working here, which was just one of many of the perks of the job)

All in all I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a steady job, looking for hours to work, or looking to build experience for something else. You will learn a lot of good qualities and good work ethic that will help you in your future endeavors.
