I received a bill from Healogics, after having received treatment on 6/1/2020. However, they did not run the bill through my insurance company prior to billing me. When I asked why it was not ran through insurance, no one was able to provide me with a reason or explanation. I was also told to disregard the bill I received until they ran my bill through insurance and another bill is sent. I received a second bill on 7/29/2020 for $199.67, which was an adjusted amount. I paid the bill on 8/3/2020 via credit card. On 8/13/2020, I received a letter from Oregon ARG, Inc. Collection Agency, which was dated 8/4/2020 for $144.27. If I owed $199.67 to Healogics, then why is collections only billing me for $144.27? There is no reason why this bill should have been sent to collections. First of all, it was their fault that the bill was not submitted through insurance right away. Secondly, I paid the bill five days after receiving it. And third, the bill was paid in less than 90 days. This entire matter is ridiculous. Apparently it's Healogics policy to turn bills over to collections after 60 days, which is too short of a period of time. Plus if the bill isn't paid until after 60 days because of an error on their part, then the bill should not be submitted to collections. This company apparently is not in business to help people. Their sole purpose is to make as much money as possible, screw people over and cause negative marks on people's credit report.
