Brennan's is the definition of old-school charm and class. Low ceilings with chandeliers, high-backed leather chairs, and a roaming live jazz trio make sitting in the main dining room a must. I've been going here with family since I was a child, and I can confidently say that the food and service have never been anything shy of excellent. Creole staples mix with culinary inventiveness to make even familiar dishes just a bit different. The turtle soup is without a doubt the best in Houston.
