This is a great art museum, but not a great place ...

This is a great art museum, but not a great place to take children under the age of 5. There are a lot of exposed paintings, sculptures and artifacts for them to touch or knock over. If you were looking for an indoor museum to take the kids to, I would recommend the Witte or DoSeum instead. They have a great collection of artwork, however, and some really cool historical exhibits. Go for one of their wine nights and stroll the museum with glass in hand. Also keep in mind that SAMA Offers free admission every Tuesday from 4 pm to 9 pm.
