We stayed at PUBLIC Chicago 10/5 - 10/12/16. Firstly, our room wasn't ready when we arrived, well after check-in. Secondly, once we finally got to our room, the linens and curtains were stained. The sink and tub also didn't drain properly, which left me standing in ankle deep water after a 5 minute shower. Then, when I went to hang my towel on the towel hook, it fell right out of the wall. The front desk was completely uninterested in my issues, and no one ever came to address these issues during my 7 night stay. We also tried to borrow the free bikes PUBLIC touts as an amenity, only to find that they were all out for service (at the same time?) and the rude concierge basically told us to pound sand when we inquired. I feel like we paid for way more than we got at this hotel.
