I have bought a lot of furniture over the years from Ashley, but this last experience has been a total nightmare!!!! I am just so disappointed!!! We ordered furniture in July, and we were told 4-6 weeks...3 months later and we still don t have all of our furniture.
The customer service has been terrible. When you call the store doesn t answer, or when you call in to speak to delivery or status of order you will wait 30 min on the line only to be hung up on. Then you call back and wait another 30 min praying you don t get hung up on again just to find out what s going on with your order. Every time you call, you will waste hours of your day just to speak to someone and then get a different answer. I have been stood up on a Friday night. Confirmed the delivery time, and then no one showed up. I called that Monday morning and no one had an answer. When I called a few weeks ago, the lady said she could take $159 off for set up fee just for my inconvenience...meaning I would still get the service but the fee taken off, right? Wrong! So on the second delivery, the guy said, oh I can t set it up because they took the fee off. I tried to explain to him that I still get the service but they took off for my hassle. So what does the delivery guy do, he lies...he says oh your table is already put together you just have to open the box. Yeah right. No, I took pictures, it wasn t put together already. Ridiculous. So I tried calling the store that afternoon, but guess what? That s right, no one answers the phone. I called yesterday to explain what happened to see if I could get some inconvenience fee since the fee they took off was pointless since I didn t get the service anyway, and the girl said let me speak to my supervisor...she came back and said are you ready for this....that because it was 2 deliveries ago she couldn t do anything. She said I would have had to call by the next day. I said that s a crock, that s just bad customer service. Lies, lies lies. I told her, I did call and no one answers the dang phone!!!! This will be my last purchase from Ashley! I bought a whole dining room set a few months ago online from another company, and it was delivered in 4 weeks.
I prefer to do business with people that will not lie and treat you with good customer service. If you want the same, then you won t want to do business with them either. Run far away.
