We had a simply unforgettable afternoon tea at the Biltmore. The first impression one gets of the hotel is one of glamour and elegance. Designed to emulate a European palace, the intricate designs on the ceiling and the lush furnishings never fail to impress. And the tea itself was excellent. I had the Bai Gao oolong (which was flavorful) which went well with the assorted sandwiches and petit fours. Highlights were the watermelon and duck carpaccio and the chocolate passion fruit tartlets. If you are in Miami, or if you enjoy doing afternoon tea, then a stop at the Biltmore is a must. To be done again!
