As a resident of the Shores in Marina Del Rey, I have been impressed with the beauty and functionality of the property for many years now. The design is somehow vibrant, creative, and strong while having timeless vitality.

This is particularly true with respect to the courtyard area. It s laid out as a park with many features including pool, Jacuzzi s, small and large fire pits, seating areas and grassy areas in a well illuminated, multi-layer construction, beautiful night and day, that continues to reveal itself to you over time.

My overall impression of and affinity for this art meets architecture construction of the Shores led me to do a little research into the designer behind the complex. I was pleased, and yet not surprised, to find that the architects of the Shores (Nadel Architects) designed the pillars at Los Angeles International Airport as well. Kudos to Nadel for a job well done at both locations.
