Took my daughter here. After CAT scan they transferred her to Childrens saying they don't treat minors. I had to request her pain meds. Nurse or the doctor did not even ask her about the pain. I was forced to pay 500$ on the same day. BEWARE you not only receive bill from the hospital you will receive a bill from RAY HUBBARD EMERGENCY PHYSICIANS if you go to their ER which is not covered by insurance. The physician did not even do anything to bill for 2000$. My daughter ended up having emergency surgery in Childrens and we received BEST care from EVERYONE. Lesson learned that no matter how far the hospitals, PLEASE GO there even if it is emergency than choosing nearby hospitals with low ratings that EAT UP YOUR MONEY for POOR service!!!! Please go to Childrens or UT southwestern if you want to save money and to avoid these medical SCAMS.
