My 17 year old TBI patient was treated like a criminal because he was having some behavioral issues as a result of his injury. They had no clue how to treat him and the therapist there talked to him like he was retarded instead of injured and confused.
He was not allowed outside for three weeks because he tried to walk ahead of the nurse because he didn t want to have to stay in his room all the time.
Their website talks about a great program for teens but we never were offered any of the services advertised.
We were treated like he was a bother and a problem.
