i used to be a big fan of mt high; until i realized how gimmicky they are. I had a promotion ticket where i could get mine free when my friend would buy his. they didn't want to honor it because they said it had to specifically be a time based ticket and not valid with online purchases but no where in the terms/fine print does it say that. Yet my friend was buying a point based ticket which is more than double a normal ticket. Seriously?
He's buying a ticket that costs double that of a normal one yet they don't want to honor my promo. I wish an attorney would show up here and scare them straight. Is the fine print supposed to be attached to their prices board and I'm supposed to have telepathy to see it with my eyeballs directly from my house? Just so I can know exactly what is or isn't valid with my promo? the website says nothing either. waste of time driving up there.

forget the promo for a second, the other problem is, they never offer dynamic pricing based on demand or snow quality. They're charging $79 on a weekend, when they claim to have 6-12 inches of snow yet most of the runs are very thin and they all have at least some rocks protruding outward AND bare patches. yet during the week they'll offer lower prices because no one wants to be there at those times. my suggestion: offer better deals based on value/snowfall and THEN charge more if the snow is good. what a bulls*** place to come, might as well goto big bear area and you can find some better deals too at the smaller resorts over there
