A word of advice, if you don't live in Paris, don'...

A word of advice, if you don't live in Paris, don't try to buy from Drouot! The Drouot auction house prides itself on distributing its sales on the Internet in order to reach buyers from all over the world, but lo and behold, when you just bought a lot remotely, in my case it was in the provinces, it was easy to be able to recover it!
First, security fees will be automatically applied after the first day of the sale and this, every day exponentially until you can collect your lot.
Secondly, if you ask to have your purchase brought back by the carriers linked to Drouot, the costs will be extremely high, even for a short distance and for a small object without great value!
Third, the longer the objects are stored at the Drouot store, the more they are prone to being damaged (according to an employee of a Parisian auction house).

So, if you live in Paris, you physically attend a sale and then you can bring your lot back, Drouot is indeed a place conducive to this but if not, refrain!
