Never stayed within "Clone Ground" in the Hawkeye ...

Never stayed within "Clone Ground" in the Hawkeye state before, but was greeted warmly by Jonathan & later by Hanna. (Both students at that "other Iowa college" nearby)

Against Jonathan's advice I decided more level luggage cart piloting could be secured by Executive Entrance access. Three floor hikes later we eventually found an elevator that could negotiate access to the 7th floor.

The "classic" castle was fit for a king; very well maintained over the decades. Rooms are well lit, comfortably maintained climate control, and super beds. ( more mirrors please)

The Iowa Stater was pricey but delicious with Rose wholly in charge of delivering satisfaction.

Be staunch with your plastic, people. In-village automation will not vend for Washingtons and slug acceptors are in ill-repair. You're bound to revel in local snacks because proprietary goods close and mobility is needed to venture to around-the-clock pampering over the moat.

Exercise amenities were adequate but not too monstrous to be out of function. Too often, older places "X" the sauna, before long the hot tub follows, eventually the pool falls victim...and the balance gradually degrades on a decaying spiral flight orbit until a shell is left...and cheap.

OVERALL: BRAVO! (Silly Cy dreamers did surprise)
(My Galaxy apps beat the hotel's 20% off "direct billing" every night of our extended stay.) JS.
