Love going to Hayes in Ambleside. Always plenty of fresh, well cared for plants to suit all tastes and pockets. Good range of garden furniture, some quite expensive . Also there is Edinburgh woollen mill, cotswald clothing.and a shoe outlet. Pet supplies are also available, with a good choice of items. An excellent range of gardening equipment is avaiable as well as wild bird food and feeders.The restuarant is well recommended but unfortunately due Covid 19 precautions, it was not open during this visit. The necessary precautions were in place and adhered too by everyone. There is a large car park available. There is much more to see and purchase and it is possible to spend half a day here.
