This is among the finest menswear shops in the city. They carry only top-end stuff with a proven track record of excellence (Allen Edmonds, Meier, Samuelsohn, Coppley, Brax, etc.), and the staff are always happy to see you and are ready to help. Sure, you could find greater selection at larger high-end clothing stores, but I guarantee you won't get the personalized service or attention like you will at a boutique like E.R. Fisher. This is a local institution, too: the family has owned the shop for multiple generations, and that factors into the care they take in putting their clients in the right gear, no exceptions.

Expect to pay a premium price, but in my experience, there is no substitute for quality. The staff also keep track of everything they've sold you, which helps you build a wardrobe like a pro. You could pay the same at another store and not get half that level of service or attention. Oh, and their tailoring is top-shelf.
