Slice of strudel for 3.50 and so far nothing to ...

Slice of strudel for 3.50 and so far nothing to say.
Except for the size, grotesque from how small it was (and I skip over the fact that it looked like frozen supermarket stuff).

It seemed a joke. But why? If you want to make more money, increase prices, but reducing portions to ridiculous levels is counterproductive. Do you really believe that after having made fun of customers with 2-bite slices, then you want to recommend the place or come back with friends? And word of mouth is important especially in a marginal reality like the Visentin.

There is no malevolence and I have nothing against managers, friendly people ... I'm just sorry because it would be good for everyone to learn to manage tourists better. People around and comparing with other realities is merciless: Take a ride in South Tyrol and compared ... sure they have funds etc etc, but it is precisely the attitude is different, a fairness and openness that we often scarce. I repeat it is not a question of price, but of feeling "housed" not squeezed.

This is just a small example of a way of doing that is unfortunately quite common in the Belluno area. And it's a real shame ... we would have fantastic environmental resources often frustrated by operators who favor small immediate speculation on investing in the future.

I hope this outburst is not taken as a rancorous criticism but for an incentive to improve, which is what matters considering that I love our areas. And maybe I still will try to return to the Bristot, hoping that if after an hour's walk I ask (and pay) a slice of cake ... I'll have a slice of cake, not a cookie. Come on, come on!
