On 11/22 I went to a competitor to check out a 2014 Chevy Malibu. They couldn't get it done and was pressuring me in a different car, and wasn't thrilled with them. On 11/23 I went on Lindsay Acura's website and inquired on a 2011 Chevy Malibu LTZ. I got called almost immediately and talked about coming out to check it out. I knew what I wanted and knew I would get approved so that wasn't an issue. I was told they still had the car and could check it out. They asked me if I had been there before and told them I had bought a Corolla from them around 2007 I thought. Turns out they found me in the system from when I bought it in 2005, and thanked me for the repeat business. Due to the holiday they were closing at 7pm, which was an issue with my working until 6pm half hour away. I ended up getting a call from Shawn Fusco to discuss checking out the car and told her I might be able to get off early. My car was ok but was showing its age and my boss was ok with letting me off at 5:30pm. I got to the lot at 6pm and met with Shawn to check out the car. Shawn and I took the car for a test drive, and I liked it more than the pictures. I understood their closing time and was more than willing to put down a deposit to take care of financing and paperwork, since it was the night before Thanksgiving and didn't want to keep them. I already knew I wanted the car so had every intention of coming back to close the deal. They didn't want to do that. Since I got there early to check out the car they wanted to stay over to get the deal done. I was there until after 8pm with them running the financing to get me the payment and time I wanted but when all was said and done I got the car I wanted for the payment and term I wanted. I appreciate all that Shawn Fusco did for me to get the deal done on the same day, and will refer anyone looking for a car to see her directly. I dealt with a pushy salesman the day before at a competitor, and she was the opposite. I planned on waiting until April to buy a car so it was unexpected but she made it painless and smooth.
