I worked on the assembly line for 15 years without a hitch. All of a sudden, we have new management that came in and wanted to ramp up production. I filed multiple complaints saying that the increase in speed compromised safety procedures. After 5 reports, no one listened and one day on the line it came back on me. The line was moving faster than usual and as I was trying to assembly my piece, the belt caught my coat and started dragging me along. The coats normally get caught, but at slower speeds, it s not a problem. However, at this speed, it moved far to fast to control. Next thing I know, I was slammed into the wall bleeding badly. I was rushed to the hospital, where I had to have a couple surgeries on my ribs. The new manager wanted to blame it all on me and said my carelessness caused the accident. But when I told you guys what happened, you did your due diligence and in the courtroom embarrassed them i m forever grateful for your hard work and I can t ever repay you guys.
