Booking a 15 year old and charging her and her friend with battery and forcing her into a diversion program for a cat fight on the beach with known Violators of the law? Appalled. Do your homework. Youth Services is failing on this one. So is the Deputy that put my 15 year old daughter and her friend into a drunk wagon with two adult males that were falling all over themselves. When the Detective reviewing the case was asked about it his comment to me was C'mon 8000 people on the beach can you really blame the officer for his actions. Well, " Yes I can" is the answer.
