Great gardens, though unless you're a real enthusiast you might get worn out by the end. If you're not, I'd recommend picking out a few specific spots on the map and focus on those. The paths were a little vaguely marked, got turned around a few times, though it's a pretty good place to wander through! If you're looking to see Sequoia trees while you're out west, this is one place to do so without having to drive far.
