There are individual nurses ,a couple of social workers, some of the docs I've dealt with as a patient or as an advocate for my father who are good-- in a couple of cases they have been excellent. BUt the overall system has failed on more than one occasion, even after the integration of electronic records between the hospital and the clinic. For example, how is it, that 72 hours into a hospital stay ( necessary but not emergent) that his DNR status was MISSED?! This happened 9 years ago with my mother as well, same hospital, and including Lebanon as well. I'm already taking my own business elsewhere as much as possible, and will continue to shift all my necessary care away from DHMC keene and Cheshire Medical Center. .
