Sometimes you just have to share an experience. I am the owner of a 2017 GMC Sierra. It now has just over 12000 miles. The other day, 4:30pm on a Friday, while going UP the Harbor Bridge, near rush hour, I lose gears. What a feeling to have no transmission response. I finally got the truck to move in the lowest gear possible, limping up the bridge. Then I finally got drive 2 and 3 to work but that was all. I limped back to the Aransas AutoPlex, where I bought the vehicle, worried about what I was going to do. Out came Jessie, my salesman. Immediately Jessie sprang into action (as he always does) taking my arm and taking me to the service department where we got with Ashly at the service desk, and then Erick, the service manager. Now it is after 5:00pm on a Friday. I knew with that trio I was in great hands. I felt I was the ONLY person with a problem at that point. Before I knew it, they took control of the situation, logged my truck in, had me in a 'loaner' car for the weekend. However, because of my work, I needed to be in a truck. Erik was on the phone to a rental company immediately to get me one. No luck. I now was told that I could be without my truck for up to 2 weeks. This really let me down. But that did not stop Erik. By Monday morning, he had found me a truck, and by Monday morning at 10am I was in that truck. Throughout the process, Ashly at the service desk kept me totally up to date on repair progress. 3 days earlier than the stated date I got the call from Ashly telling me that my truck was ready. What a pleasant surprise.

Bottom line. If you are looking for the experience of buying a new vehicle, the you MUST start with Jessie at the Aransas AutoPlex. If you have an issue with the vehicle after the sale, then you will have the team of Erik and Ashly in the service department there for you. Anytime you are at the Aransas AutoPlex, you will be amazed at how many of the reps there remember and call you by your first name.

Attitudes such as the above by a Car Dealership is simply unheard today. But NOT at the Aransas AutoPlex.
