This is the closest location to my residence, and I avoid it; preferring to travel further to others.

It's just plain poor customer service; especially compared to those other Best Buy locations within Manhattan.

On a recent cellphone purchase which had only been in stock at this particular location at the time (the reason why I even risked another visit), I was informed during the checkout process that the discount I knew to be available and applicable had expired. Additionally, I was told I'd receive an additional giftcard due to joining their mobile program, but likewise was misinformed in total to the tune of $75.

The most galling thing was the fact the rep realized he made an error about the discount after the transaction completed, and then informed me it was "too late". That was $50 lost alone. I'd then discovered his promised $25 giftcard wouldn't arrive when speaking to another more trustworthy rep at another location.

That's 75 reasons never to visit this Best Buy again.
