My wife and I stayed at this hotel and had lunch in the Chop House dining room. For me, the big attraction was the storefront-style restaurant space: historic and ornate decor, beautiful light fixtures, great windows and natural light, and a clear view of all the sidewalk action. Gorgeous appearance aside, we enjoyed our food very much. The oatmeal was served in a huge bowl and had all the best fixins. Fantastic oatmeal. The chili is very very good with small chunks of meat and beans, not big chunks. The dessert, Flourless Chocolate Cake with ice cream, was wonderful. Our lunch tab came to $50. We loved this restaurant and we highly recommend it.
