I was referred to Gold Medal Services by Home Advisors for an electrical issue with a sparking circuit breaker. I explained my situation to them and they scheduled me right away for the following day, first thing in the morning. The following morning I received a text message informing me an electrician was on his way. This was followed by a phone call from Ed Toscano, my electrician letting me know he was in front of my house.

I was impressed by Ed, the minute he walked through my door. First impression to me is everything and the fact that he immediately put on shoe covers was a sign to me that he cares about his customers and respects their home. I can easily write at least 5 paragraphs or more about how AWESOME Ed was but that would be too much to type on my phone. He explained everything in detail to my husband an I, and even gave me an "how to change an outlet 101". This was just day One, since he was just troubleshooting. During troubleshooting, it was clear that we had more than just a sparking circuit issue so we ended up having to go with a service upgrade. At this point, Ed had mentioned the companies financing option, which made our decision easier although it will still hurt our pockets BUT I would rather deal with the hole in my pocket then a house fire.

Ed had to return the following day with an assistant since there was work that needed to be done on the electrical meter outside as well. He promptly arrived at 7am and immediately got to work. When I returned from work, 10 hrs later, they were still at work and Ed was just as friendly, patient and in good spirits as when I last saw him hours prior, not too mention they hadn't even breaked for lunch (my husband told me). I took it upon myself to cook Ed and his assistant (didn't catch his name) a nice hot meal becauseI felt it was well deserved and they still had about another hours worth of work left.

Ed truly has a passion for what he does and cares about his customers and that they are safe "If I touch it, I own it" Ed would say. He was simply AWESOME. Wish he can be our "go to" guy for all our home repairs. Ed, YOU deserve a Gold medal! You are always welcomed at our house for a family dinner. Wow, I almost wrote 5 paragraphs without realizing it hahahaha.
