Our little niece and nephews came to visit this summer, and it was sooooooo hot that we decided to take them to the rec center outdoor pool. We didn t realize that the splash pad had been added. What a great day! The beginner swimmers had to pass a lifeguard test before being allowed to go down the slides at the big pool. The lifeguards were very observant and in control of the slides to ensure safe landings and to keep the big kids from pushing the little kids. The splash pad was amazing. You can see the kids from any angle. There are lifeguards stationed there too. Plenty of seats and umbrellas! Best of all is the low daily entrance fee! Season passes are available too! And.... the splash pad is open past Labor Day so the younger kids can continue to go after the big kids head back to school! Highly recommend for next season!
