Would not recommend this facility. I've worked in the healthcare field for over six years. I'm familiar with how the system works. I took my husband to their facility on a Monday afternoon. The receptionist asked that he take a seat in the waiting area and she'd be with him in a moment. Fifteen minutes later, someone else walked in and the receptionist went through the check-in process with that individual, completely overlooking my husband. When we brought it to their attention, no one made an effort to correct the issue or apologize. Instead, that person was taken back first, and I can tell you their condition was less urgent than my husband's. The doctor, however, was very nice. After examining my husband, she immediately referred him to the ER in order to rule out appendicitis (my husband was in a lot of pain). At check-out, the same receptionist saw him again and said "they'd already closed their batches and couldn't refund his $50.00" but that "they'd put it back on his card the very next day." They were very adamant about this, so off to the ER we went.

The next day, we heard nothing all day and received no credit to our bank account. We called their facility again. This time we were told that the "receptionist had told us wrong" and that we'd "have to call the billing department." (By the way, I work for the billing department for a specialist). After calling their billing department, we were told that it would take 30-45 business days for us to receive our refund. We have explained our situation and how we were given incorrect information, but yet again, no efforts have been made to make it right. A supervisor was supposed to call me, but it's going on three business days now and no response. It's not the $50.00 that bothers me. It's the fact that 1) we were not given accurate information, 2) no attempts have been made to make it right, and 3) no one has followed up in regards to our concerns. That is why I would not recommend their facility. In my professional opinion, the staff needs to be better educated on policy and procedure so they can improve their service to patients. Until then, my review will, regrettably, remain at 2 stars.
