Beautiful preserve with miles of walking, biking and canoe trails. Rent a canoe to experience the real Everglades. The canoe trails provide some amazing sights at eye level with gators. Just don't feed or harass the gators and you'll get the same respect from them.

If you're not into the whole water thing, there are miles of walking trails to the north or south as well as within the preserve itself. Wildlife is also abundant in these areas.

If you're not up for going outside at all, there's a great nature center which provides an abundance of information, There's a recreation of the habitat right inside. There's also a virtual air boat tour that guides you through what you might find outside if you feel brave enough.

Overall HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
