The rooms are nice and I expect they'll be even nicer once the renovation is complete. The hotel staff is extremely polite, friendly, and helpful. What drops a star or two for this one is the restaurant staff. I waited 10 minutes, beside the "Please Wait To Be Seated" board before being given a menu and the staff only came out where I could be seen because the phone rang. I even had to ask if I should seat myself because seating wasn't offered. The food is standard hotel fare. The steak was obviously frozen at some point as was the chowder. The breakfast buffet is the breakfast buffet in every hotel ever. I didn't expect much from the food and while I wasn't surprised I also wasn't disappointed. The overall experience has been good thanks to the front desk staff but I'd advise going elsewhere for breakfast and dinner.
