If I could rate Harrah s zero stars I would. This is the worst experience my family and I have ever had staying at a casino/hotel. We travel and stay and different hotels quite often and this by far has been the worst experience ever. Beginning with the disgustingly, filthy rooms, which I m sorry I didn t take pictures to add to this review. The beds were hard as rocks, the bathroom was dirty with hair on the floor and bathtub. Carpet clearly had not been vacuumed. We just dealt with the room as we were not going to be staying long in them, just to sleep.
What topped this horrible experience was the racist lead lifeguard, DWAYNE RIE, on the beach. My family of four had been on the beach during the morning, as we were waiting for other family members to arrive that were also staying with us as we had THREE rooms booked. When our family arrived they met us down at the beach and went back up to use the restroom to change into bathing suits. After coming back down Dwayne stopped them and refused to let them by, getting in their face. I asked him why he was not letting them by, and he said because they were not staying guests. After explain to him and going back and forth with him, arguing and yelling at us we asked for a supervisor and he responded that he was the supervisor. So we asked him for a manager, he responded that he was the highest authority there. He ended up calling the Security Supervisor who asked us to register them to the rooms and they would be fine. While my husband and I (Diamond players) went upstairs to register them, he kept harassing our family waiting downstairs. My husband decided to file a complaint for the way he was treating us. We went back downstairs to notify him that our guests were registered and he still refused to let them by. He wanted to see everyone s ID to check with registration to make sure that they really were registered. After showing him ID s, he didn t even acknowledge the identification he said that because we were giving him a hard time we were all not allowed to go in period. The security supervisor, LUIS HERNANDEZ agreed with RACIST DWAYNE RIE and refused to let us in. My children were on jet skis and were very sad to know that we had to leave because of RACIST DWAYNE RIE AND LUIS HERNANDEZ. We then proceeded to the family pool where he followed us all the way there. This was beyond the most humiliating experience we have ever experienced. WE have NEVER been asked to leave anywhere in our entire lives or been yelled at by an employee in front of other guests. I will never return to Harrah s.
