My vet sent me over with my cat's record which the vet didn't read did a bunch of irrelevant tests before finally bothering to read the chart and tell me they had more important surgeries and to schedule with my vet on Monday. I could have saved a few hundred dollars if she could have bothered to read the referral and chart.
